gate-truth
A merge gate that does not gate.
12 / 18 true, 95% Wilson interval 0.44 to 0.84, on 8 open-source projects.
Shown with --all. Gates only if you raise its severity.
What it reports
A build that runs this config or workflow will not fail on the weakness named: no coverage threshold, a Stryker break of 0 or null, Playwright's forbidOnly unset, retries on in CI, or no CI step running the suite at all. A coverage drop, a mutation-score drop, a stray .only or a flaky failure then goes green.
What to do
If the project relies on that gate, set it in the config or add the CI step. A config no CI step loads gates nothing, so the finding says nothing about it.
What it reads
With claims in the config, the rule also checks what your docs say about the gates ("thresholds enforced") against the real config.
Make it gate
It reports at info until you raise it:
// .spirolorc.jsonc
{ "rules": { "gate-truth": "warn" } }spirolo explain gate-truth prints the same claim and status from your installed binary.
